| British Constructional Steelwork Association | The BCSA represents steelwork construction companies which can undertake the design, fabrication, construction and/or erection of steelwork for steel framed buildings, whether high rise or single storey, for bridges, industrial plant, towers or gantries. The BCSA represents over 100 steelwork construction companies (also known as steelwork contractors) which together produce over two thirds of the constructional steelwork in the UK. | |||

British Metals Recycling Association | The BMRA represents collectors and processors of scrap metals. Around 40% of the UK's output of steel is made from recycled steel scrap. So collecting products made from steel which have reached the end of their working lives makes an important contribution to the environment. As steel specifications become ever more stringent, so do the levels of quality control required from the companies who process and deliver this essential raw material to the industry
| Iron and Steel Statistics Bureau | ISSB Ltd provides a comprehensive steel statistics service to industry in the UK. A vast wealth of data is available on steel production, provision and use, ranging from world-wide trade statistics, to production and delivery data to employment information. Much of this information is now available for sale to outside bodies through a series of publications. | |||

Metals Industry Skills and Performance Ltd | MetSkill exists to raise the profile, quality and effectiveness of training in steel related industries. It advises on and encourages the development of training resources and initiatives, and is active in lobbying on training issues. The company is owned and led by steel production employers.
| National Association of Steel Stockholders | NASS represents companies who buy steel in bulk from steel producers and provide a retail and distribution service to end-users of steel throughout the UK. Steel stockholders also work with many customers to provide added value to the steel they supply through first stage manufacturing processes, performed efficiently and at low cost by stockholders before the steel is delivered to site. Such processes now include de-coiling, cutting to length, and washing and oiling sheets ready for presswork. Steel plates can be processed and precision ground to customers shape requirements by flame, laser and plasma cutting; and steel sections can be shotblasted, sawn and painted. Stainless steel sheets can be brushed, polished and given a wide range of decorative finishes for hygiene, catering or architectural applications. | |||
